Taylor graduated from Florida State University with a B.S. in Environment and Society. She later went on to graduate from Florida International University (FIU) with an M.S. in Environmental Studies and a Graduate Certificate in Geographic Information Systems. After spending six years as a tour guide in Everglades National Park, Taylor moved into the air conditioning at FIU’s GIS Center where her current title is Lab Assistant. She provides GIS technical assistance to students and faculty, performs data analysis in support of various grant-funded research efforts, manages classroom and space reservations, and processes invoices for the GIS Center. Taylor enjoys the opportunity to continue expanding her GIS skills while supporting the students, faculty, and research efforts of the GIS Center.
