Jinwen is a GIScientist specializing in disaster resilience and geospatial data science. He holds a PhD from the University of South Florida and a Master of Urban and Environmental Planning (MUEP) from Arizona State University. With research interests spanning community resilience, CyberGIS, Machine Learning, and GeoAI, Jinwen’s current research is focused on how disasters impact human activities and associated social and environmental justice issues, particularly in business visitation changes during winter storms. Committed to bridging diverse fields of study and enhancing the influence of GIS, he is actively seeking collaborations for interdisciplinary dialogue and research.
